About
I have a passion for health and wellness — and for teaching others the benefits of healthy lifestyle choices. I chose to become a chiropractor because I feel a strong desire to help people become healthy through a natural, non-drug approach.
I've been a Doctor of Chiropractic since 2000, practicing in Marin county for the last five years and, before that, in St. Helena. I was awarded a Bachelors of Science degree from Northern Arizona University, majoring in Microbiology; following that, I earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California.
My practice emphasizes a wellness approach to health. Even when your body manifests no negative symptoms, you can benefit from spinal care by preventing health problems from developing later in life.
Chiropractic care releases tension held in the spinal core, allowing your body to heal more fully. The treatment involves gentle, precise touches along the spine, assisting and augmenting your body's innate healing ability to find and dissipate stored tension from past and current injuries, traumas, or stress.
People of all ages can benefit from chiropractic care. My clients include infants, teenagers, pregnant women, the middle-aged and seniors. Athletes of all types also gain from chiropractic, as it has been shown to increase athletic performance and endurance. My current passions aside from work include cycling and golf, and I've noticed improvements in my own coordination, accuracy, and stamina from regular chiropractic care.
Whether you're experiencing physical complaints such as pain, headaches, or stiffness — or are feeling the effects of emotional stress — or are interested in the preventive aspect of chiropractic care, I welcome you to experience the positive effects of low-force chiropractic.
